I’ve written numerous newspaper and magazine articles, including “Ten Ways to Cope with Breast Cancer” in Mature Living by LifeWay, and an article about Redcliffe Plantation in Beech Island, S.C., in Augusta Magazine.
I currently write Christian Romantic Suspense novels. I have completed my first manuscript, and it’s being considered by agents and editors. I am working on my second novel.
I’m a member of the National American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and the South Carolina chapter. I was awarded third place in the First Five Pages contest in S.C. I was a semi-finalist for the 2016 ACFW Genesis award.
I’ve attended the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers’ Conference, the Romance Writers of America (RWA) conference, the Hub City Writing in Place workshops, the National ACFW conference, and the Weekend with the Writers conference.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and journalism and 18 hours graduate credit in journalism.
I’ve been married 50 years and have a son. My hobbies include reading and watching NASCAR races. I am a member of Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez, Georgia.
