Expressing gratitude to others and God will help you look for blessings in every situation. Along our dream journey we will need the help of specific individuals to move forward. By showing them appreciation they will be more favorable to continue helping us. Also, the Bible teaches us to “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (I Thessalonians 5:18)

When we show appreciation to someone, it lifts our spirits also. It’s difficult to express thanks with a frown on our face.
When we realize the achievement of our dreams will require the assistance of others, we need to approach them with humility. With this frame of mind, we are open to learning.
Those rejection letters hurt. How can you find good in that? If you receive a personal note instead of a form letter, the reader often points out weak and strong points in your manuscript. Work on improving the weak areas and enhancing your strong talents.
Every day we can find a way to show thanks to our family and friends. It may be a text, e-mail, card, verbal thank you, or a hug. Instead of dwelling on the faults of others, looking for the good helps us appreciate having them in our life.
A heartfelt thank you improves our credibility. Most people can discern if we’re being genuine.
